Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Tangier – City Tour – Transfer to Chefchaouen
We begin our journey in Tangier, a port and cultural city that connects Europe and Africa. We take a brief panoramic tour, including Cape Spartel, the Caves of Hercules, and the old medina.
Then we head to Chefchaouen, the picturesque blue city nestled in the Rif Mountains. Its blue-painted streets, artisan shops, and relaxed atmosphere make it one of the most charming destinations in Morocco.
Overnight in a traditional riad in Chefchaouen.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez
After breakfast, we travel to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We explore its well-preserved mosaics and historic columns.
Then we enjoy a panoramic visit of Meknes, stopping at Bab Mansour Gate, El Hedim Square, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
In the afternoon, we arrive in Fez, one of the most important imperial cities.

Day 3: Guided Tour of Fez
With a local guide, we explore the medina of Fez el-Bali, the oldest and most labyrinthine in the country. Highlights include:
- Chouara Tanneries
- Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest in the world
- Medieval madrasas
- Artisan souks and traditional workshops
Overnight in Fez.
Day 4: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Today we head into the Middle Atlas. We stop in Ifrane, known as the Moroccan Switzerland, and in Azrou, where we visit the cedar forest and may spot Barbary macaques.
We cross the Ziz Valley, an impressive palm grove with panoramic views, until we reach Merzouga, at the gateway to the Sahara.
Dinner and accommodation in a hotel next to the dunes.
Day 5: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Desert – Camel Ride and Night in Tent
A day dedicated to exploring the desert region:
- Visit to nomadic villages
- Khamlia village, famous for its Gnawa music
- Hidden oases and abandoned mines
In the afternoon, we enjoy a camel excursion to admire the sunset over the Erg Chebbi dunes. Arrival at the Berber camp in the heart of the desert.
Dinner under the stars and a magical night in a desert tent.
Day 6: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
We wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, an unforgettable experience.
After breakfast, we head toward the spectacular Todra Gorges, with vertical walls reaching up to 300 meters. Ideal for walks or photography.
We continue to the Dades Valley, where we spend the night in a riad overlooking the valley.
Day 7: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech
We take the route of a thousand kasbahs to Ouarzazate, also known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” We visit the Atlas Studios and the Taourirt Kasbah.
Then we explore Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most famous kasbah and the setting for numerous films.
We cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 m) in the High Atlas to arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon.
Overnight in a riad in the medina.
Day 8: Guided Tour of Marrakech
- A full day to discover the treasures of the red city:
- Jemaa el-Fna Square
- Koutoubia Mosque
- Bahia Palace and Saadian Tombs
- Traditional souks
Optional: visit to the Majorelle Garden
Free time in the afternoon and overnight in Marrakech.
Day 9: Excursion to the Ourika Valley (optional) or Free Day in Marrakech
Optionally, you can take an excursion to the Ourika Valley, a beautiful natural area in the High Atlas. We hike among waterfalls, Berber villages, and green fields.
You may also choose to enjoy a free day in Marrakech for shopping, sipping tea on a terrace, or visiting a traditional hammam.
Last night in Marrakech.
Day 10: Transfer to the Airport – End of Tour
After breakfast, transfer to the airport according to departure time. End of our services with unforgettable memories of a magical journey through Morocco.
