Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Tangier – Panoramic Tour – Transfer to Chefchaouen
We begin our adventure in Tangier, a city full of history and the gateway to the African continent. We visit Cape Spartel, the Caves of Hercules, and stroll through the old medina before heading to Chefchaouen, the famous “blue city.”

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Free Day to Explore the Blue City
Full day to enjoy Chefchaouen at your own pace. We walk through its blue-painted streets, discover panoramic viewpoints, visit Uta el-Hammam Square and the Spanish mosque at sunset.
Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Roman Ruins of Volubilis – Meknes – Fez
After breakfast, we head to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, where we observe ancient mosaics and structures. We continue to Meknes, a former imperial capital, and visit Bab Mansour Gate and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
In the afternoon, we arrive in Fez, the spiritual and cultural jewel of Morocco.

Day 4: Fez – Guided City Tour
We explore the medina of Fez el-Bali with a local guide, considered the largest car-free urban area in the world. We visit:
- The University of Al Quaraouiyine
- The Chouara Tanneries
- The Bou Inania Madrasa
- The dyers’ and artisans’ quarter
- Overnight in Fez.
Day 5: Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
We head south through the Middle Atlas. Stops in Ifrane, “the Switzerland of Morocco,” and Azrou, where we see monkeys in the cedar forest.
We cross the Ziz Valley with its endless palm groves and arrive in Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara Desert.
Dinner and overnight at a hotel next to the dunes.
Day 6: Merzouga – Nomadic Villages – Khamlia – Camel Ride and Night in Tent
Adventure day in the desert:
- Visit to nomadic families
- Khamlia village and gnawa music
- Fossil mines and hidden oases
In the afternoon, we take a magical camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes and enjoy a magical night in a Berber camp under a starry sky.
Day 7: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
We wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then have breakfast and depart for the Todra Gorges, an impressive canyon with vertical walls.
We continue through the Dades Valley, known for its rock formations and kasbahs.
Accommodation in a riad overlooking the valley.
Day 8: Dades Valley – Valley of the Roses – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou
We follow the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the Valley of the Roses and traditional Berber villages until we reach Ouarzazate, where we visit the film studios and the Taourirt Kasbah.
We then explore the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for many movies.
Overnight in a traditional kasbah.
Day 9: Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Marrakech
We cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass (2,260 m), with spectacular views, until we reach the vibrant city of Marrakech.
Accommodation in a riad in the heart of the medina.
Day 10: Marrakech – Guided Tour of the Red City
Day dedicated to discovering Marrakech:
- Koutoubia Mosque
- Bahia Palace and Saadian Tombs
- Medina and souks
- Jemaa el-Fna Square, alive at all hours
Free afternoon for shopping or relaxing in a traditional hammam.
Day 11: Optional Excursion to Ourika Valley or Essaouira
You can choose between:
- Ourika Valley in the High Atlas, with hiking, nature, and Berber villages
- Essaouira, a charming coastal city, ideal for those seeking sea and art
Last night in Marrakech.
Day 12: Transfer to the Airport – End of Tour
