This itinerary is designed for travelers who want to discover the heart of Morocco, from its vibrant coastal city to the endless golden dunes of the Sahara.

Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fez

The journey begins in Casablanca, Morocco’s modern and economic metropolis. Before departure, we recommend visiting the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world and an architectural icon.

From Casablanca, we head to Rabat, the administrative capital, to explore its gardens, Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V.

We continue to Meknes, the less touristy imperial city full of history, with its emblematic Bab Mansour gate and the walled medina.

Finally, we arrive in Fez, where we will spend the night in a traditional riad.

Day 2: Fez – Middle Atlas – Ziz Valley – Erfoud

We dedicate the morning to discovering the medina of Fez, considered the largest pedestrian zone in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We explore its labyrinthine streets, artisan workshops, and historic monuments like the Al Quaraouiyine University.

In the afternoon, we begin the route south, crossing the Middle Atlas with stops in picturesque towns such as Ifrane, known as the “Moroccan Switzerland,” and Azrou, famous for its cedar forests and wild monkeys.

We continue to the Ziz Valley, a spectacular oasis with palm groves and ancient kasbahs, until we reach Erfoud, the gateway to the desert, where we will spend the night.

Day 3: Erfoud – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

In the morning, we set out for Merzouga, the heart of the Sahara Desert, known for the imposing Erg Chebbi dunes.

We enjoy a camel ride through the dunes to watch the sunset in a magical and unforgettable setting.

The night will be spent in a traditional Berber camp in the desert, under a blanket of stars, with music and typical cuisine.

Day 4: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

After a spectacular sunrise in the dunes, we return to Merzouga for breakfast.

We continue the route to the Todra Gorges, a deep canyon with vertical walls offering an impressive setting for walking and photography.

Later, we visit the Dades Valley, famous for its unique rock formations and tranquil atmosphere. We will spend the night in a traditional kasbah, enjoying local hospitality.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

On the final stage of the trip, we head to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” We will visit the Taourirt Kasbah and, time permitting, the film studios where famous movies were shot.

From Ouarzazate, we cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas, enjoying impressive panoramic views.

Finally, we arrive in Marrakech, where this unforgettable adventure in Morocco ends.
