Itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca – Visit to Hassan II Mosque and Departure to Rabat
The starting point is Casablanca, the largest and most cosmopolitan city in Morocco. We begin with a visit to the majestic Hassan II Mosque, an architectural masterpiece located next to the Atlantic Ocean.
Then we depart for Rabat, the administrative capital, where we explore the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, iconic symbols of the city.
Overnight in Rabat.
Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez
We leave early for Meknes, another imperial city known for its impressive Bab Mansour gate and walled medina.
A few kilometers away, we visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a World Heritage archaeological site that transports us to the era of the Roman Empire in North Africa.
We finish the day in Fez, the oldest city in Morocco and one of the most important cultural and spiritual centers.
Day 3: Fez – Tour of the Medina and Cultural Discovery
We dedicate the entire day to touring the medina of Fez, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.
We visit the Al Quaraouiyine University, artisan workshops, tanneries, and souks where tradition remains alive.
The authentic atmosphere and labyrinthine streets make this day a unique experience.
Day 4: Fez – Middle Atlas – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley
We head south crossing the Middle Atlas, with stops in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine architecture and cool atmosphere.
We continue to Azrou, famous for its cedar forests and wild monkeys that live freely.
The route continues towards the impressive Ziz Valley, an oasis that amazes with its vegetation and traditional kasbahs. Overnight in a hotel or kasbah in the region.
Day 5: Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
Journey into the Sahara: From Erfoud to the Dunes
Our adventure continues as we approach Erfoud, a town famous for its fossil workshops and desert gateway status. The landscape transforms dramatically as we reach Merzouga, where the golden sands of the Sahara stretch endlessly before us.
As afternoon fades, we mount camels for a magical trek through the towering Erg Chebbi dunes. The setting sun paints the sands in fiery hues, creating a breathtaking spectacle.
Our desert experience culminates with an overnight stay at a traditional Berber camp. Surrounded by silence and endless stars, we’ll enjoy authentic hospitality beneath the vast Saharan sky.
Day 6: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After sunrise on the dunes, we return to Merzouga for breakfast.
We depart towards Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert and home to famous film studios. We visit the Taourirt Kasbah and, if time allows, the film studios.
Then we cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas, enjoying panoramic views and photo stops.
Finally, we arrive in Marrakech, the red city, where this enriching adventure concludes.
