Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca – Welcome and Exploration

The journey begins in Casablanca, Morocco’s economic center. Upon your arrival, we will welcome you at the airport and take a panoramic tour that includes the iconic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most majestic in the Islamic world.

We’ll stroll along the Corniche and through the modern Anfa district before resting at your hotel or riad.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Asilah

After breakfast, we travel to Rabat, the country’s capital. We visit the main landmarks: the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas, with its picturesque viewpoint over the Atlantic.

Then we head to the charming coastal city of Asilah, known for its artistic murals, white medina, and peaceful atmosphere. Overnight by the sea.

Day 3: Asilah – Tangier – Chefchaouen

In the morning we depart for Tangier, the gateway between Africa and Europe. We visit Cape Spartel, the Hercules Caves, and the old medina.

We then continue our journey into the Rif Mountains, where the magical Chefchaouen, the famous “blue city,” awaits. Free afternoon to explore its blue alleyways, flowered stairs, and local crafts.

Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

We set off towards the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, an impressive archaeological site with mosaics and columns dating back to the 2nd century.

Next, we head to Meknes, an imperial city where we visit the Bab Mansour Gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the royal granaries.

At the end of the day, we arrive in Fes, where we spend the night in a traditional riad.

Day 5: Fes – Tour of the Historic Medina

This day is dedicated to exploring Fes, Morocco’s oldest and most spiritual city. With a local guide, we visit:

  • The Medina of Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
  • The Chouara Tanneries
  • Al Quaraouiyine University
  • The Andalusian quarter and artisan workshops
  • An authentic cultural immersion that will transport you centuries back in time.

Day 6: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

We head south, crossing the green landscapes of the Middle Atlas. We stop in:

  • Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco”
  • Azrou, to see the Barbary monkeys in its cedar forest
  • The Ziz Valley, with panoramic views of endless palm groves

At sunset, we arrive in Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara Desert. We prepare for an unforgettable experience: a sunset camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes to reach the Berber camp where we’ll spend the night under the stars.

Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

After sunrise on the dunes, we return by camel to Merzouga. We visit Rissani, a traditional southern Moroccan market.

We continue to the Todra Gorges, a natural canyon ideal for hiking. Then we head to the stunning Dades Valley, known for its winding road and rock formations. Overnight in a charming accommodation.

Day 8: Dades Valley – Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou

We follow the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, crossing the Valley of Roses, famous for its rosewater production.

We arrive in Ouarzazate, where we visit the Taourirt Kasbah and the famous Atlas Film Studios.

Later, we explore the spectacular Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the setting for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Overnight near the kasbah.

Day 9: Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Marrakech

We set out on our final leg, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), admiring mountain landscapes and Berber villages.

We arrive in Marrakech, where we take a first panoramic tour of the city and enjoy Jemaa el-Fna Square, full of life, music, and flavors.

Day 10: Marrakech – Guided Tour and Departure

On our final day, we take a guided tour of Marrakech’s main landmarks:

  • The Koutoubia Mosque
  • Bahia Palace
  • Saadian Tombs
  • Majorelle Garden
  • Free time for shopping in the colorful souks before transfer to the airport.
